Archival Storage & Presentation Box Making

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced participants.

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make a solander type archival box constructed from greyboard / book board with book cloth and paper coverings and interior ribbon ties.

This type of presentation box is made with a container section and a lid which close seamlessly together with a book cloth hinge. These boxes can be made in different sizes and formats to accommodate a variety of material such as books, loose leafed material, photographic prints, printmaking works, small artefacts and scrolls.
