We are thrilled to announce our participation in Bristol Gallery Weekend with a special exhibition featuring the work of Mike Hatjoullis.
Join us for the Private View on Friday 20th March, 6–9pm, or explore the exhibition across the weekend: Saturday 11am–5pm and Sunday 11am–4pm.
Mike Hatjoullis, RCA-trained designer, painter, and master printmaker, presents a unique blend of traditional printmaking and immersive digital experiences. At the heart of the exhibition is Earth Life, a striking lino triptych depicting Air, Land, and Sea, printed at Frankenstein Press and available for purchase during the weekend.
Alongside this, Mike’s City Series offers personal cartographies of global cities, with Blackpool emerging as a recurring touchstone throughout his work. Adding a new dimension, the exhibition includes Promenade, an immersive VR piece by his son Christos, tracing Mike’s early life and formative art-school journey. Christos will give a short talk about Mike’s work at the private view on Friday evening event. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to immerse themselves in the VR headset piece Promenade.
